BIO: Bryony started working in education in 2012, and has worked extensively as a deputy SENCo, SEN teacher, private tutor, and as an LSA at a range of schools. Bryony has substantial experience delivering lessons both in and outside schools, in an array of subjects including English, History and Drama, with a range of different exam boards with much of her focus on teaching students how to learn in a way that supports them and how to pass exams. Bryony’s background is in Music, Art and Drama. Having an English Literature degree and a training from the Oxford School of Drama and MA in Children's Lit and writing for screen, Bryony is fully open to finding ways to spark interest in creative subjects and see how they link to one another, in a friendly manner and with passion for the subjects. Since 2020 Bryony has expanded her work as an SEN teacher in schools. She is currently an SEN Teacher at Fine Arts College and held the role of Deputy Senco at Kew House School. Bryony specialises in working with students with Autism, anxiety, ADHD and dyslexia and a range of other learning differences, including sensory and processing challenges and dyspraxia. 


TEACHING STYLE: Bryony has worked with students from all age groups providing study skill help, emotional support, and strategies to access and breakdown given work. Bryony has a wealth of expertise and experience that makes her especially understanding and supportive of students’ needs. She works with her students enthusiastically and creatively, forging an encouraging environment. Bryony learned a lot from leading script-writing workshops with young carers and fínding different routes into teaching, working with a creative learning program trained her to be able to work with a range of students and approaches. Bryony has also led workshops in improv for communication, confidence, critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving.
